The Hunger Games: Catching Fire 

So the teaser trailer for “Catching Fire” has been released, but we still have to wait for the actually movie until November 22nd. Well that just sucks…

After watching the teaser trailer, you would already be on your way to the movies if it was possible. 

The excitement for this movie is beyond words, especially if you are one of the many people who have read the trilogy. 

As mentioned, it’s going to be awhile before the actual movie is released, but hang in there and until then: “May the odds be ever in your favor!”

The Vow

Summary:

The Vow, starring Channing Tatum (Leo) and Rachel McAdams (Paige), is a story about a married couple who ends up in an accident. This results in that Paige is waking up from a coma with severe memory loss, and doesn’t remember her husband Leo anymore. Now Leo is desperate to win his beloved wife’s heart back, but her parents are getting in the way. Still Leo’s doing everything he can to help Paige regain her memory, even though it’s not an easy task. It tears him down that they can’t do all the things they used to do together because Paige doesn’t remember, and feels uncomfortable about it. On top of that there’s Paige’s parents, who is now because of Paige’s lack of memory trying to make their daughter who they always wanted her to be.

Should I watch it?

It’s a good story, and if you’re a sucker for love like me, you’ll absolutely love it. It’s based on a real story, which just makes it even more amazing. If you’ve watched or read a Nicholas Sparks novel, and you love those, this is definitely a movie for you. It’s very beautiful to see how their relationship evolves and how Leo is trying to regain what’s been lost. The way he speaks of love is how true love should be. On top of the love story, there’s a lot of great humor. So if you like a good laugh, it’s worth a watch as well.

So this is not a movie for those who are looking for something with a whole lot of action, but if you’re looking for a good movie to watch on a saturday afternoon, this can warmly be recommended.

The british Ed Sheeran has become very popular in his home country, and now that he is traveling on tour, he is starting to get just as popular everywhere else. Sheeran’s songs are very beautiful and touching, and there are definitely some hits material on the album +. 

Sheeran’s music is surely not inexperienced, he has a very nice voice with an acoustic guitar to go along. Also he makes the sickest beats only using his guitar and his voice. 

Not only can Sheeran sing, but there’s also a little rap involved here and there. Which gives the album a nice flow, there’s the songs for the heart and the songs that are a little more upbeat.

With all that said, he is an absolutely awesome performer! I myself have been lucky to see him perform live, and that was an experience I’ll never forget. He really knows how to get a crowd fired up!

If you haven’t checked out this talented young man yet, you really should.

God of War III

Kratos has been missing for a long time and now the series ends with a big bang.

Revenge is the key!

Kratos has been fighting his way through the greek gods and everyone else standing in the way. This has resulted in that he only lives for revenge. Zeus, the god of gods, has to go down - and it’s not gonna be pretty. In GoWIII one greek god after the other gets killed in the most brutal way. 

In the beginning of the game we are right in the middle of a battle between the titans and the gods, where Kratos is sided with the titans to get his revenge. Kratos is climbing up mountains, crawling on titans and dispatching gods. Meanwhile the camera zooms in and out, so you alternately follow Kratos and afterwards the entire fighting scene. It’s completely insane and very impressive.

Cons:

The only thing to complain about when it comes to this game, is that sometimes when the camera is zooming in and out, there can be some troubles. If you’re walking through a narrow aisle or you’re in a cave, the camera angle doesn’t make any sense. You’ll suddenly only be able to see Kratos chest, which is quite confusing. 

Pros:

That being said, the graphic is great, and the landscapes are unbelievably beautiful. These landscapes mixed with incredible music, builds up the perfect mood for this game. 

The wild hunt after the greek gods is in a class of it’s own, which partly is because of the amazing graphic, which is said to be some of the most beautiful ever seen on a PS3

So if you’re looking for an epic adventure, this game is most definitely worth a try!
